Silver Oak Retreats is a locally owned vacation rental management company serving the Mt. Hood region. We focus on delivering full-service oversight, revenue optimization, and five-star guest experiences across every home in our portfolio. What started as a vision to improve the standard of short-term rental management in Mt. Hood has grown into a focused, hands-on operation built around performance, transparency, and long-term asset protection.

Unlike large national managers, we operate locally and maintain direct involvement in every property. Our owners don’t get routed through corporate layers, they work directly with the people responsible for performance.

The Founders

Silver Oak Retreats was founded by Chris Jones and Janelle Kiive.

Janelle leads operations and owner communication, ensuring every property runs smoothly behind the scenes. With years of experience in residential and commercial property management across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, she brings operational expertise to the beautiful Mt. Hood area.

Chris oversees branding, systems, and revenue positioning, optimizing how each home is presented and priced in the marketplace. With years of experience in producing and editing audio, video, and photo content, he brings an attention to detail that helps separates your property from the rest.
